100 Years of Elim

Celebrating 100 Years of Elim

A Letter from Pastor Mark Walker

"As I reflect on these past 100 years, I am in awe of the goodness and mercy of our God. I think back to 1922 and how the Lord put His plan for this church in motion on that street corner in Southeast Houston as Anna Mae Routh Manning boldly proclaimed the Gospel. Over the years, many people came and made this church their home. These people were committed to the work of the Lord and His plan for us. With their blood, sweat, and tears, they left a tremendous legacy. As senior pastor, it is a great honor and privilege to lead this body of Christ into the future. We are excited to be a part of what God is doing here at Elim Church and look forward to what the next 100 years will bring."
